Making an Impact - Victor

Alicia Messabauer, "I am writing this in regards to a message I received online about sending in a story of someone we know that has demonstrated a commitment to helping others during this time of uncertainty and dire need. I wanted to write a little bit about my boyfriend, Victor, an RN of 10 years. He is working in upstate New York at a local hospital as an ER nurse, on top of volunteering for a local organization that utilizes resources to help care for those who have tested positive for the virus and/or are in quarantine.

He can work very long hours (32 hours in 2-day span) but never complains. He is always willing and able to help out where needed, going above and beyond to make sure an excellent level of care is always provided. Though we miss him at home, I am very proud of all he has accomplished and all he continues to contribute to the community during this crisis.

At a very uncertain time, it is comforting to know we have men and women, like him, who are willing to put their lives on the line to save others. How lucky are we?! Thank you, to all healthcare workers!"
