Abby Reger, “My name is Abby Reger. I am currently a student online with Portage Learning so I can start my bridge program this fall for my RN while also working full time as an LPN in Pediatric LTAC. COVID-19 is becoming very scary for all, including those of us working in the healthcare field. I go to work without even questioning so that I can care for those who need me now more than ever. I put on my mask and I wear it for my full 12-hour shift whether it’s my scheduled 3 shifts or the extra shifts I pick up that week. I love my job, I love the children I’m fortunate and blessed enough to care for, and I love being a nurse and making an impact.”
